The large frame took my focus .....it can be used to create journal boxes, album pages and cards.
The frame is the focus of this artwork and it can be part of a album page or card front.
To stamp the large frame you will require the large 4" x 5" acrylic block. This sample also uses the clear versa mark ink pad and the white embossing powder on Black cardstock. The flowers and leaves were stamped from the new stamp set 'Shower Flowers' C1612...also embossed
with white embossing powder. Stamp some additional assorted flowers with black exclusive ink stamp pads. Use the embossing & piercing tool kit to shape these flowers after fussy cutting them.
Let your creativity take you where it will and change this idea up to suit your project. Using the shin Han markers to colour stamped images adds another dimension...... The sentiment...'Life is..." can be completed with sentiments from the stamp set or choose any sentiment to say what you would like to say.....expressions of the heart!

The details in this stamp are fine and clear. It totally lends itself to just being stamped and still being the hero. Choose a blend of colours. I chose Chocolate, Desert Sand and Bamboo Exclusive ink pads and a few stamping techniques and allowed the images to stand out. The card would not be complete with out a flower.....the small flower from "Happy Birds" C1600
1. Take the 2x2 Acrylic block and ink it with Bamboo ink.....stamp on blank colonial white card 4 times.....this gives the rustic background. 2. Using Chocolate Ink pad stamp the woodgrain frame over each of these rustic background squares. Using a cut out of the frame as a mask, random stamp the flowers with both 1st and 2nd generation stamping and Desert Sand ink pad. Stamp the caption from the SOTM stamp set at the base of the card.
Choose a different colour palette and make it look different.

We have these great mini albums that will make a great gift just as it is or filled with photos and encouraging words for a dear friend or family member......just a little decorated. They come in black or Kraft. I used this stamp set to decorate the front cover of the Kraft mini album. The best way to do this is to load the large 4x5 inch Acrylic block with multiple stamps....arrange as desired.
Choose an Exclusive ink stamp pad colour.....Ponderosa Pine and stamp images onto colonial white cardstock. My cardstock was mounted onto a 6x4 card from the Picture My Life Hopscotch pack. These cards are a great compliment to this album as they just slip into the sleeves included....quick and easy to decorate.
The 'love this' heart stamp was added after the large block was stamped and the masking technique was used to add the arrow to the image. Stamped with Sunset Exclusive ink stamp pad.
Using Smoothie striped Washi tape add the decorated cardstock to the cover of the mini album...the colour matches the Hopscotch palette perfectly.
Simple and effective, quick and easy too. The Hopscotch Al A Carte Hopscotch Picture My Life cards are a great addition to this album for quick decorating and the 3x4 Flip Flaps make it easy to add more photos or more journalling too.
Create great gifts for friends and family....better than a card.......reflect on 2014.....set your plans for 2015.....Go for it!!!

Sometimes we just want to express ourselves simply and this stamp set allows that......great wishes!.....'Just for you' and 'Congratulations' are often not heard enough. Spend a few minutes making some great little tags for those special moments. The combinations are endless!
This tag is cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge in whisper and slate......slate is cut .25 larger than the whisper tag. In order to design my flowers I cut assorted sizes of daisy white cardstock.....1.5 inch, 1.75 inch and 2 inch squares. I then stamped a variety of colours and different flower images onto these cards. Choose a colour palette you enjoy and stamp away.
Once you have a selection of flower images take your non stick micro tip scissors and sit with a cuppa and fussy cut them all out....it really is quite relaxing. If you don't have our CTMH non stick micro tip scissors then treat yourself to a wonderful Christmas gift and order some.....you wont be disappointed.
Take the cut tags and using Whisper ink and a dauber, distress the edges of the tag and any flowers that you would like to add depth and character to.
Arrange your flower images...stamp the wording and adhere to top tag....use some 3D foam adhesive to add depth as well. Decorate with Itty Bitty Sparkles and Red enamel hearts. Using the Slate Diagonal striped ribbon.....cut a 6 inch strip and loop through the hole at the top. Once your tag is all decorated and adhered then adhere the top tag to the base for a wonderful gift tag.
"It's the Little Things" Stamp of the Month is only available until 30th November from your CTMH consultant. I'd love you to leave a comment and follow my blog before heading off to the next stop, Shaunna's Blog.
