November's Stamp of the Month S1811.....'Seasonal Trees'...... is available exclusively throughout November 2018 only.... for just $29.50 or for the great price of $8.25 when you spend $82.50. There are lots and lots of individual stamps in this set with great images of trees that will create beautiful artwork for you and your crafty friends! I love that it has 3 main trees that will suit our upcoming events with Christmas, Thanks, Halloween and Winter that is coming to an end!!! There are many mini stamps that are great for background stamping and adding some details to the trees for cards and pages.
I was taken with the bare branch tree and added it to a faux watercolour background. One background was done by inking directly to the acrylic block and then stamping onto the card. The other background was done using the stamp set D1797 Watercolour Impressions and a variety of colours. These images were stamped on white cardstock and then mounted on the leaf paper from the mix ins pack.

Lovely cards Wendy, I love the way you did the backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty and I love your backgrounds!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour choices Wendy. Reminds me of Europe in winter. Love your backgrounds for each card
ReplyDeleteThe backgrounds turned out wonderful & I loved how you incorporated the tree into them. I really like how on the second card you made another tree that seems to be disappearing into the mist or fig. And that red bird - so sweet & just pops right out.
ReplyDeleteBoth are so very lovely!
