Hello and welcome aboard our CTMH 'Urban' Australasian Close to My Heart Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Leah Cameron's Corner then you are in the right place. If you landed here by accident, no problem, please read and join in by following the link at the end of this post. The hop is a circle so keep hopping using the links at the end of each post.

Our Urban palette has a beautiful paper pack with so much grunge and distressed artwork...great for the guys in our lives or the outdoor.....with compliments and assortments that match really well ...the hard work is done for you! and is  available throughout the life of our Annual Inspirations Idea book....August 2016....
Our Annual ideas book is full of wonderful projects to complete with this great product.
The Urban paper pack speaks "BOY" to me....when you look at it first glance, so that's what I was thinking when I created this card.   I partnered this distressed paper with another great new product....a stamp set for guys or the little guys in our life.....Stamp set C1623 'Loads of Fun'. I used it for a card. I love the price and ease of our blank card bulk packs but was wanting a folded card. I adapted the plain card to a side step card with a cut and a few score lines....it looks great and the technique was simple.

The images are stamped with slate ink on Saffron card stock which is included in the Urban paper pack and then cut out with our micro tip fine scissors

The white card is covered with Sapphire cardstock and then a piece of the Urban paper is used to give the texture.

The stamped images are adhered with 3D foam tape and finished off with some embellishments...embossed metal badge buttons (clearance)..... on the wheels.

The side step card was simple to make
.....cut down the length of the card....across the fold at 2.75 inches....starting at 1.5 inches and stop cutting 1.5 inches from end

then score from edge to middle cut at 1.3 and 2.75 and then turn around and flip over so all score marks are on the same edge and score again at the same measurements.

Use this to make any side step card that fits our bulk card envelopes.
